Medical Logistic Trailers

The New Hampshire Department of Safety, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, is pleased to announce the deployment of twelve medical logistic trailers to strategic locations statewide.

Homeland Security and Emergency Management has developed protocols for communities to request the trailers for response to actual incidents, as well as non-emergency requests. This information is posted on our website under "News and Events" at http://www.OO.gov/safety/divisions/bemlindex.html.

The intended use of the medical trailers is to augment local resources for mass casualty incidents and clinic set-up/response. Additionally, the trailers can be utilized in non-emergency situations for training, drills, exercises and demonstrations to ensure first responders are familiar with the contents of the trailers.

In an effort to ensure that all partners receive this information, we are utilizing a number of mailing lists to get the word out; therefore, we apologize in advance if you receive more than one copy of this announcement.

If you have any questions about the logistic trailers, please contact your Emergency Management Field Representative or Jennifer Harper, BT Coordinator at 1-800-852-3792.

healthcare sector or hospitals in particular, the possibility that hospitals may be targeted by
terrorist organizations remains...

NHAEMT - Up and Running

Welcome to all NH EMS Providers

The NH Association of EMTS is once again gaining strength after a bit of a slow time. I welcome anyone who is interested in joining us to jump on board.

There are big plans for EMS on the local, state, and national level. May this blog and website be an opportunity for EMS providers to stay informed, participate, and learn from one another.

NHAEMT has a new slate of officers, their names and contact information is easily found on the website. We have new ideas and a common goal of uniting to be a strong voice for all EMS providers. Huge appreciation for the commitment of these officers, members past and present, and to all of the others who have given their talents for the betterment of the association, including the webmaster.

Please share your thoughts and ideas. Together we can make a difference.
